the day before this, everyone was excited thinking of what to wear. obviously i took part in this amazing event too by dressing up in office wear to school. not knowing or you can say the lack of clothes? led me to wear what i wore when i work part time at siew siew's mother workplace. just a normal plain pink T-shirt on the inside and a black button shirt on the outside. i even had a dilemma whether to wear a long pants or a skirt (i picked the skirt cause it look better on short people). we also had to choose/search/find/dig for matching shoes/heels/slippers. it was like a comedy. (imagine clothes piling up on the bed and shoes, slipper thrown everywhere) all of this happened BEFORE the seminar itself (it was just only the beginning). due to the long hours of finding the clothes, the next morning i realised all my energy had been drained.

the moment i reached school i was shocked/appalled/stunned? hahas. many were wearing office wear. to be exact the WHOLE CLASS except alvin. it meant that 37 of us were wearing pretty much CEO/boss/salesman kind of clothes. with joel wearing a black coat(those which are SO HOT), a red tie and a white formal shirt on the inside, he was the BOSS of 4D. there were others that were his subordinate, body guards, chauffeur too. below is the list of people that we thought they represent BASED ON their CLOTHING(i dont want people to come curse me =X).

obviously everyone was fabulously dressed (well done guys/gals!). then it was time for the seminar. the beginning was held at the hall. they made the table and chairs arrangement like a wedding dinner (i thought we were going to have food served in like wedding dinner too=x). as the seminar started with people's speech including the Guest of Honour and principal of TJC. we then had a social etiquette session with MR CHRISTIAN CHUA. it was refreshing and FUNNY. instead of being a speaker he could be a comedian. as he was superb in talking his way through. he did/said many interesting things to catch the WHOLE school's attention. some of the examples are as below.

he gave polo sweets to the people who answered his question properly.
and he said:" i gave you polo sweets, because when you CHOKE, you can BREATHE"
the next thing he said was :" great i handed out all the polo sweets, because it is EXPIRED!"

he also showed how/where does guys put their hand when wanting a lady to grab his hands. he even showed if the lady did not hold, one should put his other hand at the hips and pull his pants up, adjusting it.

at the slide shows, he used bruce lee's hairstyle on george bush(no offence). but seriously,the hairstyle does not fit.

after many series of joke, i found my stomach aching and my laughter sounds sore.( laugh too hard). we then continued to different capsules. like going to design, mass comm, MJC and had a break and when to the second session at VJC, arts and social science, IT and engineering. for the last session was a talk about business. im sorry but by then all my energy was absorbed and sucked out of my body. im SORRY. but i dozed off. hahas =) finally it came to an end. (you can hear the angels singing and dancing above the students head.) it trained you for stamina in being attentive. hahas. anyway, thanks to those organizers who did a great job in putting the seminars in air-conditioned rooms too. if not we would have been like sweating pigs. =)

besides this career seminar thingy, another incident made a great impact(BANG) on me. i think it is greater for kaka than me. hahas. we were about to go home when she saw F. she was talking/ walking with him that we(xin, nik, me, YC) decided to let them go together. it took quite sometime when she realised that we were absent and she come running towards us. first she pounced on nik, he shrieked!. next she grabbed YC, luckily for her, she managed to escaped for her. lastly, she finally caught her prey. ME! hahas. i she hold me on my shoulders, refusing to let go. i frantic and ran round like a mad woman, but to no avail. T.T. i surrended and stood at a corner, while the predator(ka) enjoy his meals, by beating the prey(me) at the arms. pitying me, the other preys(nik and YC) came to help me. hahas. i feel loved~ hahas. the next thing, tears came streaming down ka's face. it was tears of joy/happiness/mixed feelings. even though i do not know the feelings of hers, but i know that her love is real. ^^ it made a tickling warm feeling in my heart. the emotion/expression that i had lost. even though ka did things that traumatize us. i felt glad and heave a sigh of relief. as this could be a motivation for her and that she could experience such great meetings with F. i bet now she is still laughing and smiling. great for her. ^^ after all the experience, being tired, i landed on my soft bed with a thud and went to my world. "the land of short"
